Mission Green Light’s Free Breast Health Educational Initiative (BHEI) focuses on uninsured and low-income younger women of minorities.
Our objective is to nurture in these women through education and awareness about the importance of early detection of breast cancer. Also, we aim to develop in these younger women the significance of taking responsibility for their own healthcare by living a healthier lifestyle.

“BHEI” is a very cost effective way of educating younger women in breast health. Our doctors and nurse practitioners, in a clinical environment, provide clinical breast examinations, and at the same time educate these women how to conduct a proper monthly self-examinations. We also provide them with reading material about the early signs of breast cancer.
In certain cases, where further investigation is needed, we connect these women with the Illinois Breast & Cervical Cancer Program.
Note: We would be happy to coordinate with any group, church or organization to provide the Awareness Lectures.
Illinois Breast & Cervical Cancer Program is a State funded programs that provide cancer screening and treatment to thousands of uninsured women through its network of hospitals and clinics in the State of Illinois.
It is a privilege for Mission Green Light to promote the awareness of IBCCP because this program truly saves lives of uninsured women. Through awareness lectures, we inform women of minorities to take advantage of this opportunity as early detection is the key in the fight against cancer.
